Full internal refurbishment of a 1930’s Arts and Craft semi-detached house in Golders Green, Barnet. The project saw a light touch approach on improving and enhancing the living space of a family home. Changes needed to be made to create more connection between the rooms, allowing the couple to feel more connected in the house.

Structural openings between the living room and dining room will create a large volume for cooking, socialising and entertaining. The removal of walls in the hallway enables a more impactful entrance and better use of space and natural light.

Th kitchen arrangement will transform the cooking experience for the retired caterer, who is know for throwing the odd party!

Redecoration of walls and restoration of parquet flooring, will bring a new lease of life. Alongside a new lighting plan that will upgrade the electrics to LEDs throughout to be more conscious of energy consumption.

Pre- Construction stage of this project took 2 months and started in February 2023. The Construction phase is expected to take 3 months and will be completed in June 2023.
